Come meet Olympian Ross Rebagliati
MEET ROSS REBAGLIATI

Born July 14, 1971. Lives is Kelowna BC Canada. Ski raced for Grouse mountain Tyee ski club growing up in Vancouver until 1987 when he began snowboarding at age 15. This was during ‘snowboard prohibition’ with no mountains permitting snowboarders, throughout Canada. 10 years later he won gold at the Olympic debut of snowboarding in Nagano Japan. He was temporarily disqualified and stripped of his gold medal for testing positive for cannabis the next day. Ross was quickly reinstated after authorities realized THC was not on the list of banned substances but not before landing himself in a Japanese jail and causing a worldwide discussion surrounding cannabis while it was still in the throes of heavy prohibition. Ross has been an advocate for cannabis use since 1998 and his brand Ross' Gold resonates with many within the industry. Ross has a family of three awesome kids and a kick ass wife.
WHAT'S OUR FOCUS?
Canada’s legalized cannabis industry is growing fast. But despite the change in legislation, negative stereotypes persist. People aren’t entirely sure what’s legal and what’s not. And there’s a clear in information and education on the uses and benefits of cannabis.
The Canadian Cannabis Consumer Show is a public showcase featuring informative educational sessions, curated guest speakers and trade show booths packed full of information, resources, services and products.
WHY HERE, WHY NOW?
1) A public market for licensed cannabis producers and suppliers to showcase their products and innovations.
2) A forum for exhibitors, speakers and sponsors from across the country, even around the world, to share their knowledge and expertise about the cannabis industry.
3) An education and sales opportunity for small licensed growers to connect with resources and network with potential investors.
